The Midway Tavern show to raise funds for the Samaritan Counseling Center had a packed house of standing room only, lots of dancing, and definitely "audience participation". Some noted sightings included Mayor Jeff Rea and his fiance, er girlfriend,we meant....oh what the heck, Jeff we're confused! (so is she, probably) , former Congressman Hiler, attorney Andy Spalding on stage doing Gloria, the Sparks coming off their successful McDazzle event, a 3-star US Marine General (can't be too many of those guys around), and lots of supporters from Christ the King Lutheran Church ( party animal alert--if you need a church to join). Hopefully we didn't get Samaritan Counseling Center more business from last night.
